Three years later, this project is a prime example of what we mean when we say a patio can be timeless.
When we were first contacted about this project, the homeowners wanted a patio that would feel natural in this heavily wooded setting — not something that looked out of place or overly new.
Coming back three years later, we think it’s starting to fit the environment perfectly. The stone has settled in, the surrounding landscape has grown, and even a little moss is starting to work its way into the joints.
Could we come in, clean everything up and make the patio look brand new again? Absolutely. But that’s not what this customer is going for.
They wanted something that would age naturally and feel like it belongs here for years to come. We believe we captured that. 🏔️💪🏻

Awesome job
Here is a project we have been working on over the last 5 days. This retaining wall is being built to help retain this slope for these customers home. We have put in just about 100 tons of stone on this wall for the base, and drainage area. This wall is just under 4’ tall and we installed 3 layers of geo grid as well as drainage in our base. We are now in the process of creating a swale behind the wall to get water out from behind the wall. Fabric will be laid over top of our clean stone before we add soil on top and continue creating our swale.🏔️💪🏻

I was in the area for another job, and stopped to check on this project we did three years ago. It looks great. With quality materials, and best building practices projects will last for decades. This homeowner is now potentially thinking about moving from this property. Now that he has enjoyed this for the last three years it now becomes a great selling feature to the house! 🏔️💪🏻
